About Us

Hello Aggie Pride Parents:

Welcome to the UC Davis Athletics community. By virtue of being a parent of one (or more) of our student-athletes, you have joined an elite group known as: Aggie Pride Parents. Our weekly emails and athletics newsletter will keep you informed of all the special events, home games and weekly highlights within athletics.

All of the outstanding accomplishments of our student-athletes were possible through the support and commitment of our parents, coaches, outstanding alumni and the university community. Aggie Pride Parents not only will provide parents a better understanding of the university, it will instill a common mantra that has resonated through athletics for decades - “Aggie Pride.”

One of the goals of Aggie Pride Parent is to provide a link with our parents by offering comprehensive information, volunteer opportunities and an avenue of continued financial support for our 23 sports funds. Our parents provide us with a major percentage of financial support. The Aggie Athletics Fund and the 23 men’s and women’s individual sports funds are the private funds that assist our coaches for:

• Computer technology needs

• Partial funding for seasonal coaches

• Student-athlete awards

• Special team travel and tournaments not covered by the sport budget

• Other competitive enhancements not covered by initial sports budget
