“Aggie Pride!” - a mantra, which has resonated throughout UC Davis Athletics for well over 40-years and is deeply imbedded in our 26 varsity sports. For decades, our coaches and alumni have defined Aggie Pride, while many more feel its everyday presence. This inaugural issue of Aggie Pride takes a look at the changing landscape in athletics and opportunities for our alumni, parents, fans, friends, and corporations to make a difference in the collegiate experience of our current and future student-athletes. As UC Davis Athletics enters into its inaugural year of NCAA Division-I classification, it is of critical importance to continue providing opportunities for our student-athletes to compete at the highest level while earning their prestigious UC Davis degree.
